Developed a trading strategy on volatility-related CBOE ETNs (Exchange Traded Notes). Implemented the
algorithm in Python, which earned 50% annual return in simulations with real-time data

past five years using Python. The test showed an 80% return over this five-year horizon

Developed a librarian system using C++ under Linux, which allows one to keep records of borrowed books with a
tracking barcode on each book. Launched the system in a middle school, with a load of 10k books and 5k students

 Implemented two perceptron algorithms (batch perceptron and fixed-increment single-sample perceptron) to
separate data. Compared the rate of convergence using R and achieved 99% accuracy on classification of 10k
linearly separable data

 Implemented EM algorithm to achieve multinomial clustering by assuming the pixels of the picture follow a
multinomial distribution and successfully restored the picture to 80% of the original using R
