Typical Lab Day
• 10 minute lecture
– Typically Powerpoint
– Show up on time
– Do not distract yourself/others from presentation
• 40 minute lab
– Leave whenever you’re finished
• Ask for help!!!
(My goal is to boost your stats grade and
teach you something!!!)
Grading
• Part of your SEL final grade (about 16%)
• 11 Labs – lowest is dropped for a total of 10
– 8 points each (total of 80 points)
• 1 project (total of 20 points)
– Spans multiple weeks at end of semester
Makeup Policy
• NO MAKEUPS without university excuse
• Two Reasons:
– Fair for all students
– Justified through dropping one lab
• If you have a University excuse, show proof
(Doctor’s note, etc) as soon as possible
• Makeup labs are given at the end of the
semester
