Julius Caesar Project:
A notebook will be prepared by each student. The notebook will contain all the work related to this
drama. Each student will select the amount of work he or she chooses to do based on the following
contract:
Contract for an “A” - all 10 items
Contract for a “B” - omit items 2 and 9
Contract for a “C” – omit items 1, 2, 6 and 9
Important: After you have compiled all your activities in notebook form, add a title page. Write in ink on

Prompt: Imagine yourself as a Roman contemporary of (Caesar, Brutus, Cassius) and
write one to two pages on the topic: “In the conflict between Antony and Brutus, I
would have supported…”. For credit, you must include well thought out reasons for
your choices and examples to support each.

Draw a picture or a floor plan of the typical Elizabethan stage or build a model of the Globe

Provide a definition for an aside, a monologue and soliloquy. Name one example of each
from the play. Refer to the act and scene, who the speaker is and the line numbers of the speech. You will
also include the occasion of the speech, and the purpose of the speech.

Sketch one of the characters in costume. Color your drawing, or dress a doll in costume to
represent one of the characters.

Develop a crossword puzzle using the vocabulary from “Julius Caesar”. You will also need to
provide an answer key with your puzzle.
