Prerequisite: Math 105 or placement test. Assignments will be given on each section. I will check each day to see if the assignment has been completed. Your grade will be based on 4 one hour tests and the final exam, which is comprehensive. Each test will count 20%, and the final will also count 20%. If you are unable to be present for a test, prior arrangements must be made; otherwise your score will be reduced by 10%. No test score will be dropped. If you have completed all your homework, three points will be added to your final average at the end of the semester. A graphing calculator is required. The TI 83, 84, 85, or 86 are the recommended choices. There is free math tutoring in Converse B14 throughout the semester. There are tutorial DVDs on reserve in the Library that explain each section of the book, and also a complete Solutions Manual is on reserve. Final Exam Friday, Dec. 12, 2-3:50 pm. It is college policy that no early finals may be given.
