School Theme All Years Gospel story for this week: Mark 6:1-6 Mark 6:7-13 Calling the Twelve to him, he began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over impure spirits. These were his instructions: “Take nothing for the journey except a staff—no bread, no bag, no money in your belts. Wear sandals but not an extra shirt. Whenever you enter a house, stay there until you leave that town. And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, leave that place and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.” They went out and preached that people should repent. They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them. The theme for this week is… Sending Out Reflection All Years This has been an incredibly busy and rewarding school year. Spend one minute in silence thinking about YOUR year; •What went well? •What have you achieved this year? •What are you proud of? •What do you wish you had done better? Reflection All Years Now thinking back over your school year, decide on one thing you would like to thank God for. We will then go round the class and everyone will say out loud their one thing. All Years Congratulations to all those who took part in the Summer Soiree. It was a fabulous evening which showcased the huge talent we have in our school. Everyone who attended the concerts was astounded at the musical ability we have here and the concerts were brilliant so well done! Congratulations! Year 10 Congratulations to every member of Year 10 for your behaviour and enthusiasm during your CEG days. Your maturity and interest impressed everyone involved and you were a credit to the school. Remember to say a big thank you to Mrs. Thompson for organising everything for you! Message Board All Years Lost Memory Sticks If you have lost a memory stick within the last few weeks please go and see Mr Meoli in the ICT Office to see if it has been handed in Any memory sticks not claimed by the end of term will be disposed of. Lost Property All lost property is kept in the finance office. If you are missing anything please pay a visit. Any property currently in the finance office will be recycled at half term If you have already completed a lost property form for this academic year, and you have not been contacted to claim your property, please assume your property has been lost.
