EDUC 321-EDUC 329 must be taken within one year of student teaching. Some states may require more weeks student teaching (i.e. 18 weeks for Wisconsin) to be certified. Achievement of a “C” or above is required for the “content knowledge” courses required for licensure. (See the content courses listed above.) All Elementary Majors MUST have either an academic endorsement OR a special endorsement and an academic concentration. Academic Endorsement: If the student selects one of the academic endorsements, he or she must complete the approved courses for a K-8 academic endorsement.
