Important Notes
The Treaty of Versailles was weak. It
blamed Germany for the war and led to
WWII.
 Wilson’s 14 points was President’s Wilson’s
plan for lasting peace.
 Wilson was an idealist. He believed that
WWI would end all wars.

Important Notes
The League of Nations was the last of the
14 points. It called for the creation of an
international organization that would keep
peace in the World.
 The US refused to join the League of
Nations because membership in the
League of Nations would make us involved
in Foreign Entanglements.

