The Position

Accounts Receivable Clerk

This position will be based in Amazing Grass’ offices in

Newport Beach, CA

The AR Clerk will report to the Director of Finance /

Accounts Receivable / Credit Manager

Job Description

Hands-on position will be responsible for daily Accounts

Receivable activities:

 Manage overall company payment posting for : Cash,

Check and Credit Card payments

 Reconcile applied payments to bank deposit

 Prepare email for deduction support for short paid invoices; Prepare email for deduction approval to sales or credit/AR lead.

 Manage all incoming credit memo requests and process credit memos per policy guidelines

 Generate monthly statement

 Interfacing with credit/accounts receivable lead, for resolution of any cash application or credit issuance

 Load Demo Rep bills in the system and ensure timely

Qualifications

 In addition, ideal candidate must have: strong communication and analytical skills. Excellent organization, verbal and written communication skills, along with positive attitude a must. Ability to maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times

Netsuite experience strongly preferred. Must be skilled in

Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.

The Person

The successful candidate for AR Clerk should have relevant or similar experience in the following areas:

Organizational and Communication Skills. Be able manage all incoming communications via email related to

Accounts Receivable. Resolve or acknowledge customer questions regarding credit status, on a daily basis. Solid communications skills to interact with external and internal customers

Consumer Products Experience. The company competes in fast moving consumer goods, with primary customers such as Whole Foods, Vitamin Shoppe, GNC and Amazon.

Relevant industry experience preferred.

Attention to details and Proactive. Detail attention when processing cash application and credit issuance, proper coding, and validating the credit.

Accounting Management Processes. Relative experience in elements of accounting and understanding of necessary control points in Accounts Receivable department.

Team Orientation. Strong team orientation with ability to work outside of assigned duties. Back-up of the accounting team as necessary

Additional Career Progression. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to continue to assume greater responsibility once they have mastered the initial responsibility and delivered excellent results.
