The David Project is a national nonprofit

campus opinion on Israel by educating,
training, and empowering Jewish and nonJewish c student leaders to be thoughtful,
strategic and persuasive advocates. The
David Project accomplishes its mission
through programs on its 43 Core School
college campuses across the U.S., Israel
Uncovered, a 10-day leadership trip to
Israel and the Relationship Building
Institute, its annual summer training
conference.

Job Summary
As the Development Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on a highly
collaborative team during an exciting growth period for our organization. You will use
your excellent writing skills to craft donor-facing messages, your project management
skills to help manage foundation grants and plan unique donor events, and your
administration skills to research donor prospects, track, steward and acknowledge
donations. You will report to the Chief Marketing and Development Officer and will have
the opportunity to work closely with the Program team, the Finance Manager and the
Executive Director.

Responsibilities Overview







Develop and maintain relationships with donors and volunteers
Support grant and report writing
Process gifts, acknowledgments and create reports
Manage database of donors
Assist with external facing donor communication and PR and marketing plan
deliverables
Manage development and execution of donor cultivation events
Assist with prospect research

Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications







Bachelor’s degree with at least two years’ relevant work experience
Ability to thrive in a startup environment of a growing organization with an
entrepreneurial spirit
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with donors, executives and other staff
members
Enthusiasm, a sense of humor and a personal commitment to TDP’s mission
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, fundraising databases (eTapestry or similar)
and graphic design applications a plus
Demonstrated track record in creating organizational systems and project
management and great attention to detail
Where We Work
Our office is located in the heart of downtown Boston. You’ll be working out of our
national headquarters at 745 Atlantic Avenue, WeWork South Station. Perks of working
