• Follow Mrs. Bullard’s directions for folding the paper.

CLASS RESEARCH
• Each group will be given a step in the Scientific Method to
research.
• You will be come an expert on that part of the SM, and
then teach what you know to the class!
• As each group presents, we will write down the important
information in the foldable!

Find information about your topic using
encyclopedias, textbooks, and Internet
HYPOTHESIS
Think of a possible answer to your
question based on observation &
research (“If…, then….”)
EXPERIMENTATION
Test your hypothesis. Design an
experiment that will show if a factor
causes an outcome./
DATA
Collect data during experiment. Keep
clear records and use tables and graphs
to display data when appropriate.
CONCLUSION
Draw a conclusion to determine whether
the data supports your hypothesis.
