A transaction might be completed by filling out
several screens
There are literally thousands of transaction

It’s often faster to use a transaction code
instead of navigating a menu

A session is little more than an instance of
the SAP client that you see
It’s possible to run different transactions in
different sessions

How the Simulation is Set up

You are using a configured SAP simulation

Each of you has a unique user id



GBI-xxx where xxx is your user number
This user number is “magical” and is used when
searching for information
