Achieving Your Goal Having set sharp, clearly defined goals, you can take pride in the completed achievements. The process of achieving goals gives your club confidence that the club will be able to achieve even higher and more challenging goals. Achieving Your Goal Develop action steps. Determine who is responsible for each task. Establish a timeline. Determine criteria for measuring progress. Use resources and tools. Motivate committee or person. Evaluate progress and learn from experience. Achieving Your Goal If you achieved the goal too easily, make your next goals harder. If the goal took a long time to achieve, make the next goals a little easier. If you learned something that would lead you to change other goals, do so. Share your goals with other Rotary Clubs. Celebrate Your Goal Achievements When you have achieved a goal, take the time to enjoy the satisfaction of having done so. If the goal was a significant one, reward your club appropriately. Celebrate Your Goal Achievements Research has shown that people who use goal setting effectively: Suffer less from stress and anxiety. Concentrate better. Show more self-confidence. Perform better.
