different interpretations of their revolutionary
results from the development of their
constitutions to their leadership structure to

Students will learn about expansion of the United
States westward and its interactions/treatment
of Native Americans and other nations where
they struggle for new territory (Texas and the
Southwest against Mexico). Also the growth of
democracy and the American economy as well as
the issue of slavery and where it should be
allowed as it leads increasingly to the possibility
of Civil War.

and Africa and their similarities and differences.

China, Asia, India, Africa, The Pacific and Asia and

indigenous populations in these areas were
treated.
