KaiPing for 7 days,
you will stay at my house.
Kai Ping is a small town in
south China near GuangZhou.
I will be your guide, I will take
you to go sightseeing and try a lot of special
food. I hope you will have a good time in
KaiPing.
Autumn is the best season, I hope you come to
KaiPing in fall. At that time the weather is cool,
you can bring some quarter-sleeve shirts and
some pants.
I hope that you visit after KaiPing, you will like
KaiPing.
In the morning , we will get up early and go to my elementary
school, we can go there on foot or by bus, I think we go there on foot
will good for us because we should do more exercise in the morning.
~ Visit 2 schools
My elementary school is old, that was my first school. There are 3
buildings, there are trees around the campus. I will take you to go
around the school before we leave this school.
Then, i will take you to my high school because it is not far from my
elementary school. The school is big and new, there are 5 buildings,
there is a big playground for the students to do exercise, there are 10
computer rooms for students to study. I will show you where my
classroom was.
In the afternoon, i will take you to eat lunch at XiaoMaiTian
restaurant, the food is not expensive, i think you will like the food very
much.
we go to visit my 2 schools one day, i believe you will find it
interesting.
I will show you the famous towers in
Kaiping. We can go there by car, we will
get there in about half an hour. I will tell
you some history of the towers. Maybe
this will be an eye-opener for you.
Kaiping towers are the most famous
buildings in KaiPing. Kaiping towers were
built in the 16th century, they became an
important historical landmarks in the 19
century. There are towers in each village
and they are not the same.
The shape of the towers are the same.
They only differ in the size and height.
Chikan towers are the highest towers in
KaiPing. They look beautiful.

We will take the bus to the longest
shopping street, this street is KaiPing’s
longest shopping street. This street are many
things to buy, the street is very famous. So,
many people like to play and go shopping
there, the first floor sells things, there are
many stores, on the second floor, you can
take pictures and there are some internet
bars, the third floor is for the people to drink
beer in the evening.
At about 4 o’clock in the afternoon, many
people go shopping there until 11 o’clock in
the evening.
The street is very long. It takes 15minutes at
least to go from the beginning to the end of
the street. If you want to go to all the stores, I
think you will take several hours.
If you want to buy some souvenirs for your
friends, I think this street is the best place to
In the afternoon, I will take you to drink mike
tea,tapioca, eat chicken wings, fish balls, those are
delicious and very popular with people. I think you
will like this food and want to eat again.
In the evening, I will take you to City Square. This is
the most beautiful place in the evening, there are
many trees, grasslands and there are some beautiful
lights shining. People like to come here to take walks
and dance. Everybody is happy here.
There is also a fountain, when the water gushes out,
the colorful lights shine at the water, it looks very
beautiful.
Many people like this City Square. I hope you will
like this beautiful place, too.
I will take you a day tour of Chikan. We can go there by bus
in a half hour. Kaiping Chikan is the oldest town. The town
has a beautiful scenery and also delicious food that we
must try. We can take a bus tour along the ancient town of
Chikan.
There is also a movie company in Chikan. Some famous
stars filmed movies here.
Chikan also has delicious local food, there are tofu
pudding, rice cooked in clay pot, eel rice, bean curd and
there is also real sesame paste to enjoy. Although the food
is cheap, but delicious. I believe you will like the food.
When we arrive in ChiKan, don’t forget to take some
pictures before we leave this beautiful town.
I think that after you visit ChiKan, you will say “how
beautiful! ”and you do not want to leave.
Feng Cai Tang is KaiPing’s most famous ancient shrine.
This is an imitation of China's workers building in
western China.. This building was built in 1906. It is for
the people in KaiPing,Tai Shan, to commemorate their
ancestor. There are 3 doors to enter and 6 court yards
and 15 halls with a total area of 5364 square meters.
Many people go there to visit, so i take you to visit this
beautiful and famous building, too.
In the evening, I will take you to the shrine and see the
other shrine. There is a building like a boat. It is made of
glass. We can have dinner there. The food is not
expensive but it is tasty.
Although this place is not famous, it is beautiful. I think
you will like to visit it.
Time goes by really fast, this is your last day in Kaiping. I will
take you to the biggest supermarket. This supermarket has three
floors and a lot of things to sell. The first floor sells food. The
second floor sells furniture, cameras and clothes. There is
the Japanese restaurant , children's playground and cinema on
the third floor. This supermarket is very popular, so many people
like to go there. I think you will like it, too.
We can have lunch and dinner at the Japanese restaurant. The
food is very expensive but we must try because it is tasty. We
can play the games in the Children's Playground. In the evening,
we will watch movies at the cinema and we can eat popcorn
while we watch the movie. I hope you will be happy during these
seven days in Kaiping.
As you can see, there are many interesting places in Kaiping.
