About Marrable Services
Marrable Services is a boutique technology company which specialises in
nearshore resourcing for a flexible and low cost approach to software
delivery.
Founded by IT outsourcing and software delivery expert, Sean Murphy,
Marrable Services has put the emphasis firmly on quality assurance and
robust delivery.
We are experts in determining the individual needs of an organisation
and finding the right solution at the right price. We resolve delivery
issues and implement best practise for system development and testing.
Marrable Services works in close partnership with Qubiz; a full service
IT consultancy and software development house based in Romania who
service companies across Europe.

The Team
SEAN MURPHY (MANAGING DIRECTOR – MARRABLE SERVICES)
Sean has over 20 years commercial technology experience with 13 years handson management experience in delivery; most recently as interim COO. He has
a proven track record of supporting multiple business functions and delivering
projects on cross media platforms. He is a strong people, supply, and process
manager.
Most notably he designed and delivered the infrastructure and software for the
1st public launch of BBC iPlayer. He also launched the UK’s first newspaper
paid-for content web sites for the Times, Sunday Times and News of the World.
He has personally established four software development centres and built
onshore and offshore delivery capabilities for Thomsons Online Benefits, News
International, BBC, Teletext Ltd and Siemens Business Services. Sean prefers
Agile and has introduced scrum and XP delivery techniques to multiple media
companies – integrated with ITIL3. Sean is now a full-time consultant
specialising in outsourcing, nearshoring and team augmentation.
MARCEL ANGHEL (CEO – QUBIZ)
Marcel has more than 20 years of entrepreneurial experience in starting
and managing IT software companies as well as assembling top notch
development teams.
The first ventures he developed could be defined as pure outsourcing
units, however, over time he has strived for continuous growth towards
innovation and services with high value in the deIivery chain.
In this respect, Qubiz is focusing on an added value approach providing
consultancy, project management, development, quality assurance and
ultimately becoming a nearshore long-term partner to its clients.
GABRIEL LUPUS (MANAGING DIRECTOR – QUBIZ)
Gabi is responsible for managing and growing the Qubiz office in Cluj-Napoca
and combines leadership skills with strong technical and business knowledge in
the IT industry. Gabi has extensive experience in developing new teams and
units for overseas clients and understands the challenges of nearshore companies
and their clients having worked in the sector for many years. He has a solid
background in Agile methodologies as well as with Prince2/CMMI
Level 3 environments. He enjoys innovating and is constantly looking
for opportunities for technological innovation for our clients.
FLISS HAMBLYN (BUSINESS SUPPORT DIRECTOR – MARRABLE
SERVICES)
Fliss’ role with Marrable Services is client communication and support
ensuring the smooth running of each individual project.
Fliss has a varied background in Digital Media and Marketing
Communications, as well as Business Development and Support. She
pioneered the first UK PPV service on cable TV (Home Video Store) and
was instrumental in building one of the first UK digital broadcasters
(Music Choice).
She has worked as a Senior Affiliate Manager at board level, managing
the relationships and meeting the needs of Digital Media companies
across Europe.
More recently she worked with the University of West London to broker
relationships with SMEs involved in Digital Media and creative industries
in London: analysing their business and technology needs and finding
ways to meet them within the HE sector.
SIOBHAN CHILD (ACCOUNT DIRECTOR – MARRABLE SERVICES)
Siobhan’s background is largely in Account Management and Business
Development roles for various advertising and marketing communications
agencies. Siobhan began her career at Ogilvy and Mather working on the
Cisco and Amex accounts. Over the years Siobhan has worked alongside
Board Directors of multi-disciplinary agencies to develop relationships
with new clients as well as enhancing relationships with existing clients.
Siobhan set up the Business Development department in London and
New York for The Fish Can Sing, a boutique Brand Consultancy and
Experiential agency.
Siobhan also spent some years working in the publishing world, for
Crimson Publishing and Harper Collins. At HarperCollins Siobhan’s role
was to manage bespoke publishing accounts for clients such as BIC, The
London Eye and Burger King.
It is a mixture of her account management, marketing and business
development skills, which led her to the role of Account Director at
Marrable Services.
