Enhancing Communication Skills

Enhance your communication skills by practicing techniques such as; focusing, active listening, mirroring and
assertiveness. Through lecture, role play and group exercises students will develop a more complete understanding
of the complexity of interpersonal communication and become more effective in achieving desired outcomes.

A History of Hollywood and the Silent Movies from 1910-1928
Join us for a truly fun class about the roots of Hollywood. Learn about the films from 1910-through the end of the
silent era in 1928; how the movie industry started out here; who the early pioneers were; how the films were made
and some of the still-existing landmarks from the silent era.

Beginning Art Class
Come have some fun and experiment with colored pens, pencils, paper and paint to see what you can create. No
artistic talent or experience required. Students will explore and learn about different art media and what each will
do. A list of needed materials will be distributed at the first class.
