Religious Studies
Exam Board studied: Edexcel
How course is assessed: Assessment will be through two one-and-a-half-hour examinations. Each
examination will be divided into four sections and students will be expected to choose one of the
two questions set on each section, ie four questions in total. Quality of Written Communication will
be assessed through Assessment Objective 1 in part c) of each question. Up to 4 marks will be
awarded for Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar (SPaG).
Unit 3 is worth 50%, unit 10 is worth 50%. Each exam lasts for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
