Edits to The Coca-Cola Company content
1. About
Suggest not splitting non-alcoholic and beverages across two lines
Coca-Cola suggested dropping the special font for the I in IFBA as it looks like it just says FBA. I
agree with this and so we don’t mess up the visual motif, perhaps we start this paragraph with
“In 2008, IFBA was formed when CEOs…”
Please revise the 1st paragraph under “Five Commitments in Five Years” as follows:
In a May 2008 letter to WHO Director-General Dr. Margaret Chan, our CEOs committed to a set
of five actions over the next five years and beyond, intended to extend, on a global basis, their
work which was already underway in different parts of the world to address health and wellness
concerns globally.
Please delete the extra period after commitment 5.
2. Our Commitments > Product Composition and Availability > Reducing Sugar and Calories
Coca-Cola split across two lines in the website. Apologies for not mentioning this, but the rule is
that “The Coca-Cola Company” always has to be presented in a single line.
3. Our Commitments > Nutrition Information to Consumers > Making Nutrition Information
Available on Packaging and Labels
Coca-Cola split across two lines.
4. Our Commitments > Nutrition Information to Consumers > Collaborating with Others
Please delete the entire section below. I asked if they intend to replace with something else and
they will come back to us.
“The Coca-Cola Company: Through the Coca-Cola Foundation and the company foundations
around the world, the company sponsors nutrition education programmes to help educate
consumers about the importance of a balanced diet. Among them:
o South Korea: Coca-Cola Health Camp. The Coca-Cola Foundation provided a
$200,000 grant to continue our support for this programme, which will provide 550
youths in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Incheon with programmes that teach healthy
behaviors to the increasing numbers of Korean students at risk for obesity and
weight-related health concerns. The camp complements the Coca-Cola Health Class
programme, which the Foundation funded in 2008 and 2009 and which has
benefited more than 24,000 students to date.
o Italy: The Modavi Project. In Italy, the Coca-Cola Foundation sponsors A Scuola
inForma’ (“At School InShape”), which aims to educate Italian high school students
about the importance of balanced nutrition and exercise. The programme has a
presence in eight regions of Italy and reaches more than 11,000 students in 64
schools. It is overseen by Modavi, an Italian nongovernmental organization (NGO),

and informed by the dedicated support of nutritionists, psychologists and sports
trainers.
China: Balanced Diet – Active Living. Coca-Cola China launched this education and
awareness programme with China’s Ministry of Health in 2009. The programme
delivers science-based health information to the public, promotes a “walking day”
on the 11th of every month, sponsors awards at universities to encourage students
to practice healthy living and uses social media to facilitate an exchange of ideas for
living a balanced and healthy lifestyle. The company’s $300,000 grant will support
the programme in 12 cities and 36 universities and help reach more than 50,000
participants.”
5. Our Commitments > Promotion of Physical Activity & Healthy Lifestyles > View our members’
initiatives to promote healthy lifestyles
Troops for Fitness video is not centered, looks like it is bumped down and bottom half is being
cut off in the video window.
They have commented that Copa Coca-Cola is an image, not a video like the other features. Can
you please replace with a video. Here is a link to a bunch of them. They have not indicated a
preference, but let’s go with “Suenos de Copa” as a start – unless you prefer another one.

They commented on the large space between StreetGames and ParticipACTION descriptions.
This, of course, is a function of the length of the description. I would recommend flipping the
order.
Coca-Cola split under StreetGames description.
Please delete Canada from the title line for ParticipACTION.
They have queried if there is a way to more clearly indicate that the videos coordinate with the
features physical activity programs, saying it feels a little disjointed. Quite honestly, I don’t think
this is an issue, and no one else has commented on it, but it may be worth looking at their
website, where they have separated each program with a discreet line http://www.cocacolacompany.com/search?q=community
6. Our Commitments > Promotion of Physical Activity & Healthy Lifestyles > View our members’
initiatives in the workplace
Please delete this entire section. I have asked for a replacement.
7. Our Commitments > Partnerships > View our member’s initiatives for collaborating with others
Please delete Mission Olympic and Triple Play, and keep only EPODE, Exercise is Medicine and
Heart Truth.

Please incorporate the following edits into the opening line: “The Coca-Cola Company has a long
and successful history of supporting the communities in which it operates. The company is
focused on initiatives that reduce our its environmental footprint, support active, healthy living,
create a safe, inclusive work environment for its associates, and enhance the economic
development of the communities where it operates.”
