ABX Engineering, Inc. is a 29-year-old contract electronics manufacturer located in Burlingame California
just outside of the Silicon Valley.
As Sales Program Manager I have direct responsibility for selling ABX services to accounts in Military,
Aerospace, Renewable Energy, Research, Medical, Transportation, Broadcast, Telecom and other
industries. Selling includes: account research prospecting, sales calls, presentations, trade show
participation and farming on-going customer relationships. As Marketing Manager I developed a formal
marketing program to support the company’s sales expansion beyond Silicon Valley, including
development and deployment of a new company website www.abxengineering.com email sales
campaigns, marketing and Tradeshow strategies and other promotional programs.

In October of 1999 I sold my company to Teledex Corporation www.teledex.com the worlds leading
supplier of telephones and VoiP products for hotels. I assumed the position of Vice President Consumer
Products and General Manager of the San Diego operation, which included managing the product
development, manufacturing and quality programs for our factories in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea,
Japan and Malaysia, with yearly telephone manufacturing volumes exceeding one million telephones.
Established product management, engineering, industrial design (including cosmetic modeling), teams in
US and Asia. Set up an Asia (Hong Kong/China based) operations/engineering office to expedite product
development and improve purchasing logistics.
In June of 2000, Teledex merged with TT Systems, and together the two companies were acquired by a
large Wall Street investment banking firm; the Jordan Company. The new combined company had over
225 employees and over 130 million dollars a year in telecom sales. The company held retail brandlicensing agreements with IBM, Bell Equipment and PhoneMate.

Asian contract electronics manufacturing company and sold telecommunications products to company’s

product development and engineering for all products sold in North America. G-Tek's manufacturing
volume was over 60 million dollars (FOB) per year, manufacturing telecommunications.

Contel/Executone manufactured business communications telephone systems and hospital
communications systems. Contel/Executone had yearly sales of over $190 million at that time, of which
over half was handled by the San Diego facility. As Technical Operations Manager, with a staff of over
100 employee’s, my responsibilities included: test engineering, industrial engineering, quality control,
quality assurance, security and maintenance for the San Diego facility.
XYCOM, Inc.

My career began in the computer industry. Xycom manufactured industrial microcomputer products for
customers including: General Motors, Ford, Goodyear, GE and others. One year after joining Xycom,
I was promoted to Supervisor, in the product test department. Three years later, I was promoted to
Manufacturing Supervisor and then to Manufacturing Manager, responsible for a 150-person production
team. After serving a year as Manufacturing Manager, with the company’s rapid growth I was promoted
to the position of Manufacturing Technologies Manager to support the company’s growth objectives with
production automation and technology.
Education
Graduated in 1972 from the Radio Communications Electronics program at GASC in Flint Michigan.
Experience includes small and large companies, from product development, manufacturing to sales and
marketing. Solid understanding and experience working with the culture of large multi-national
corporations, at the same time the experience in managing and working with the limited funding available
