• Promoters; purchasers; Companies: BarStars Inc. etc.
– Starts with an email or phone call.. Or facebook
– If you don’t know them, reach out say hello… offer tickets to one of your shows … etc
– Ask about upcoming shows and venues they use … Do you have the right venue for them?
• Also look into…
–
–
•
Venues
• What other venues are putting on shows?
• What other venues are an option for you to use? On / Off Campus ? Examples..
Potential partners
• Clubs ( consignment on ticket sales , % back on # tickets sold)
• Local Music shops
• Another College or University Students’ Union
If you don’t know if there are other promoters in your city at this moment, go find out asap!
