the crust

– When heat and pressure build up
and molten rock, rock fragments &
hot gasses are “released” at a

– Molten / liquid rock (magma) that
has reached Earth’s surface after an
eruption
Caldera
– A crater at the top of a volcano that
has either collapsed from below or
been blown off by an eruption and is
sometimes filled with water
