CAREERS UPDATE – YEAR 11 MAY 2015 POLICE ENTRY INFORMATION SESSION 6 May, 3 pm, WA Police Academy, 81 Lakeside Drive, Joondalup. These monthly entry information sessions are aimed at individuals wanting to know more about a career with the WA Police. Sessions include presentations by an officer from Police Recruiting, Police Recruits and other members of WA Police. CURTIN UNIVERSITY Maths Enrichment Program for years 5-11: There will be 16 weekly sessions held at the Curtin University campus in Bentley, which are schedule in two 8 week blocks. The classes in 2015 are scheduled in Term 2 (from Monday 27th April to Friday 19th June) and Term 3 (from Monday 20th July to Friday 11th September), 8 weeks in each block. This engaging and informative evening will be delivered by Dr. Michael CarrGregg, one of Australia’s highest profile psychologists who specialises in the area of parenting adolescents and adolescent mental health. Dr. Carr-Gregg is a founding member of the National Centre Against Bullying and chairs their Cybersafety Committee. He sits on the Board of the Young and Well Cooperative Research Centre, is the parenting expert for Channel 7′s top rating Sunrise and The Morning Show and is a columnist for Girlfriend magazine.
