CAREERS UPDATE – YEAR 11 MAY 2014 Semester 2 Certificate Course Opportunity - CERTIFICATE IV Business or CERTIFICATE IV Interactive Digital Media Polytechnic West is offering Year 11 high school students the opportunity to apply for a position in the Certificate IV Business or Certificate IV Interactive Digital Media commencing second semester 2014 and concluding September 2015. Students if accepted will attend on Fridays at the Thornlie Campus from 9.00am – 3.00pm. This is an extremely competitive course as it may assist in alternative entry options into University. CURTIN UNIVERSITY Maths Enrichment Program for years 5-11 There will be 16 weekly sessions held at the Curtin University campus in Bentley, which are schedule in two 8 weeks block. One block is in Term 2 (from Monday 5th May to Friday 27th June) and the other in Term 3 (from Monday 21st July to Friday 12th September). The sessions for each year level are listed on the website. The cost for two terms in 2014 is $319 per student (including GST). Places are limited and early applications are advised. This is a 12 day program for students moving into Year 12 who are thinking about a career in science, engineering and technology.
