POLICE ENTRY INFORMATION SESSION
6 May, 3 pm, WA Police Academy, 81 Lakeside Drive, Joondalup.
These monthly entry information sessions are aimed at individuals wanting to know more
about a career with the WA Police. Sessions include presentations by an officer from Police
Recruiting, Police Recruits and other members of WA Police. The session will provide an
overview of WA Police entry pathways, the selection process and other details regarding

CURTIN UNIVERSITY
Maths Enrichment Program for years 5-11:
There will be 16 weekly sessions held at the Curtin University campus in Bentley, which are
schedule in two 8 week blocks. The topics covered by the programme are selected to
complement the school curriculum and to challenge students with some non-standard
problems. The classes in 2015 are scheduled in Term 2 (from Monday 27th April to Friday
19th June) and Term 3 (from Monday 20th July to Friday 11th September), 8 weeks in each

Pharmacy Information Evening - Tuesday, 26 May, 5.30pm, Building 300, Room 219,
Bentley Campus. This evening will provide information on pharmacy at Curtin and career

Year 10 Parent Information Evening – Monday 8 June.
Each year Curtin University hosts a parent information evening for parents of year 10
students. This event is intended to help demystify university preferences and the TISC
process. It provides opportunities to speak with Curtin experts from admissions,

Engineering information sessions - Tuesday, 19 May, 6.30 – 7.30pm, Weatherburn
Lecture Theatre, Room G40, Mathematics Building.
Tuesday 16 June, 6.30 – 7.30pm, Monadelphous Integrated Learning Centre,
Monadelphous Design Studio, Room 1.52, Mathematics Building.
These sessions will include information about UWA’s undergraduate major in engineering
science and the postgraduate course in engineering. There will be course advice for
prospective engineering students, including prerequisites. There will also be information
regarding career options and the choice of engineering specialisations available.
Engineering students will also be on-hand to answer questions and offer a student’s
