Marketing Plan Team Assignment # 2. Originally Due Nov 15, Now Due Nov 22. For Week 5, each team is to do the following three tasks and present you findings in a powerpoint presentation. The findings, if correctly done, will require about 5-6 bullet points for EACH of the three questions. 1 – Complete an analysis of your customers’ wants and needs, and describe how your company will meet those wants and needs. You can use wants and needs as described on pages 52-53, use the lecture from week 4 on the basis for customers’ wants and needs, or you can simply define among team members own terms to describe their wants and needs. The objective of the first question is to assure that the team fully understands the demand for the product from the customers’ want or need perspective. 2- Discuss the process of how customers proceed through the consumer purchase decisions model as it relates to your company’s products or services. Describe how the customer realizes of experiences the Problem Recognition, Information Search, Alternative Evaluation, Purchase Decision, and Post Purchase Evaluation. The objective of the second question is to assure that the team fully understands the demand for the product from the customers’ behavior perspective. 3- Describe the most appropriate market segments for your company’s products or service. Segments can be Geographic, Demographic, Psychographic or Product Usage Related; or some combination of the four categories. Try to determine the 3-4 most important segments that you hope to serve. Describe why you chose those segments in one or two bullets. The objective of the third question is to assure that the team fully understands how demands or behaviors or responses to marketing strategies may vary by different important customer groups so that they firm can best allocate its limited resources in reaching as many f its best customers as it can.
