Hutchinson as a threat to their society? Think About:

ANSWER
Puritans believed that their way of worship was the only way,
that their leaders carried out God’s will, and that society
needed to be tightly knit and behavior strictly controlled.
Puritan leaders may have felt especially threatened by
Hutchinson’s views because she was a woman and the church
and society were male-dominated.
