SEED is one of the largest student-managed portfolios in the country, with $5 million AUM.
The fund’s objective is to outperform the S&P 500 annually by 100 basis points. The SEED
team conducts the ongoing operations of the fund and provides a unique opportunity for students
to gain practical experience in investment analysis and portfolio management. We encourage

Being a member of the SEED program has been one of the most rewarding experiences of our
collegiate career. The analytical skills and professional development provided by SEED are
without parallel. SEED’s detailed analysis of our nation’s equity markets yields extensive
learning opportunities and personal rewards. Our program relies on dedication and teamwork,
which is cultivated by individual talent and academic prowess. The organization is designed to
provide training in equity analysis, problem solving, and experience in portfolio management.








We welcome all majors
We are not able to admit freshmen currently in their first semester
Candidates must be in the Spring 2017 graduating class or later.
The minimum overall GPA for undergraduates is 3.0.
This application must be submitted in complete form by Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016
Candidates are required to participate in a formal interview process before receiving an
offer of membership.
New members are required to participate in SEED development training:
o Equity Analysis course (3 credits)
o An additional 3 credits per semester towards graduation is also offered for
membership in SEED
