Saksham -Reflections
This type of I.C.T training intended for university teachers will be of overriding importance for
dexterity of information in every level. For our developing subcontinent these type of initiatives
should help the teachers to cope with their profession and everyday needs like banking,
computing, social networking etc.
Mr. Kausik Ghosh, Vidyasagar University
“National Mission on Education through ICT’’-SAKSHAM designed by Microsoft to drive Education
through ICT for Higher Education. It was a wonderful gathering of the representatives from
different departments of our university. We have enjoyed every moment of the program with
many interactive sessions on soft skills, activities; IT based knowledge, more creative ways of
teaching. This training program also provides us a platform for sharing innovative ideas of your
work with other colleagues, and reaches out to the entire teaching community with your ideas.
