leadership roles at affiliate companies

Joined as a result of acquisition of IPOperations tasked with integrating acquired businesses.

 Promoted to oversee the restructure of Ciera, the operating division.
 Worked with the Management team to develop a plan which resulted in a sale of the customer base to Integra.
 Was responsible for the CCC Network which included 3 class 4 Siemens DCO switches in Houston, LA, and Miami. Other
responsibilities included the IT department and the provisioning group consisting of 20 employees.

 Successfully integrated 3 acquired business to include single network, billing, customer care and infrastructure.
IPOperations (Formerly E-Talk.NET) [2000-2002] - Employed through acquisition by CCC GlobalComm
Co-founded a startup “Click to Talk” business, voice enabling websites. Customers included: Mercedes Benz, Red Roof Inn, Motel, 6,
TCU University, AutoNation, Sonic Holding (car dealerships), Third Coast Media, and many others .

 Was involved in every aspect of the business which included preparation and maintenance of the business plan, raising
over 7 million dollars investments through the angel community in one of the worst economies in quite some time.

Flashnet Communications (FLAS)[1998-2000] - Employed through acquisition by Prodigy Communications
Recruited to deploy Back Office systems prior the IPO and build out an infrastructure to scale to a million
subscribers.

 Promoted to assume responsibility for all technical operations of FlashNet’s systems including network,
systems and operations. These operations were supported by 70 employees and 6 direct reports.
 Spearheaded and chaired the IT steering committee where all IT projects were discussed and prioritized.
 Responsible for increasing the company’s Internet service capacity by over 5 times during the last year of
operation without any significant downtime.
 Was a member of the acquisition team which evaluated small ISP’s and product companies.

 Deployed Portal Infranet to replace legacy systems in 8 weeks resulting in a white paper published by Portal.
 Supported media buying needs by creating real-time reporting on gross new adds in market where new add
promotions were airing and profiling customer base utilizing demographic data.

Early employment history includes 7 years as the Manager of Architecture at Excel Communications(ECI), Unix Engineer at
Omni Computer Solutions, Engineering Support at Compaq Computer Corporation (CPQ, now HPQ) and 9 years as an Adjunct
professor at the University of Phoenix teaching CIS and Networking classes. At Excel Communications, led all technology
direction through the 20% growth per month for 4 years resulting in 2 billion in annual revenues and IPO on NYSE.

