Alcohol Service Policies
Alcohol policies must be discussed with every volunteer before gates open at every event. Every
group will have a meeting with all volunteers before gates to discuss the day’s game plan as well
as alcohol service policies.
Today’s Alcohol Sales Date is:
____________________, 1991
Alcohol may only be served, sold or touched by persons 18 years of age or older. This is a
law and anyone not adhering to it runs the risk of arrest or possible fine.
Alcohol may only be served to fans with a valid ID and who are 21 years of age or older.
You must ID everyone! CHECK ID BIRTHDATE & EXPIRATION DATE
Acceptable Forms of Identification:
DRIVERS LICENSE
STATE ID
PASSPORT
MILITARY ID (be sure to look on the back for the date of birth!)
Do not serve more than TWO alcoholic drinks to a guest at a time per ID.
Only TWO (2) alcoholic beverages may be served at a time to a fan. If a customer already has a
beer in their hand, you may only serve them one more at this sale. If two fans walk up together
and wish to purchase 4 beverages they can, but they both need to have valid ID’s and both of
those ID’s should be checked. One person can purchase all 4 of these beverages as long as there
are two valid ID’s and each person carries two.
Alcohol service is a privilege not a right. You have the right to refuse service to any fan based
upon their intoxication level. Signs that a fan has had too much to drink:
1. Lowered Inhibitions - talking loudly, overfriendly, argumentative
2. Faulty Judgment - inappropriate jokes, socially unacceptable behavior, foul language
3. Slowed Reactions - glassy eyes, forgetful, decreased small motor skills
4. Poor Coordination - stumbling or falling, impaired vision, swaying or unsteady
**Tell your Stand Manager if you refuse serve to a fan alcohol. This way they can follow the
fan in case they try to purchase alcohol at another. DNC will back your decision not to serve a
fan 100%.
Do not serve alcoholic drinks after cut-off time.
Volunteers must sign a sheet each event stating that they understand these policies.
Game Day Parking Information
Parking for game day employees/volunteers of DNC is available in a lot off of Penman Street,
about 3 blocks away from Bank of America Stadium. (Penman Street changes its name to
“Quincey Street” south of Mint Street.) There is no charge to park in this lot.
ALL SUNDAY EVENTS – This lot will be filled on a first come first serve basis. We highly
recommend carpooling as there are over 2000 game day employees and only 500 parking spaces.
Plus you will be entered in the Carpool Lottery!
If kick-off times change due to flexible scheduling, this parking lot may be converted to a
carpool ONLY
lot for that game. This will be determined prior to the event.
ALL NON-SUNDAY GAMES (WEEKDAYS AND SATURDAY*) – This is a carpool ONLY
lot. You must have at least one other DNC employee/volunteer with you in your car to park in
this lot. Employees who arrive at the lot by themselves will not be allowed to park. This
Carpool Lot is only open to DNC employees.
DELAWARE NORTH COMPANIES- SPORTSERVICE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO
CHANGE PARKING POLICIES AT ANYTIME DURING THE SEASON.
Any changes to game day parking policies will be posted on our website and sent via email to the
address we have on file.
There are many parking lots located around the stadium for those unable to carpool with other
employees or who arrive after the lot is filled. DNC has no control over the cost and parking
space availability of these lots. Not being able to find parking is not a valid reason for being late
or missing a game.
A shuttle bus will run between the game day lot and the check in area prior to gates opening and
at the conclusion of the work day.
