Welcome and review of last meeting minutes and actions
The minutes of WP4 meeting were agreed and there were no comments
2.
Work Package 3 Plan – Review of activities (Discussion)
The work package plan was reviewed. The majority of tasks are on plan or complete. The next steps
are to complete the evaluation plan and conduct interviews and agree the format of the final report.
The headings of the final report need to be considered by all members and all members are asked to
propose suitable heading suggestions (suggestions below).

Progress reports on Case study interviews
Case study interviews have been progressing well. All interviews are expected to be complete by the
end of October 2013. SL had previously requested an extension until Friday 18th October, which was
agreed and stated they are on track to be complete by the extended deadline.
4.
Discussion on Report format headings/structure for
 Evaluation/Justification Report Template – HCSO suggested using the life cycle
proposal from the sponsorship and BPMP as headings for the evaluation template.
This was agreed as consensus by WP3 members. These were also being use by the
standard setting process steps in WP 2.

Final Report – it was recommended that the final report be based on the five major
points, and structured as follows;
1. Background and Introduction
2. Establish the need
3. Develop
4. Adopt
5. Disseminate, apply
6. Maintain, review
7. Summary of lessons learned
8. Conclusion
9. Annex with completed questionnaires.

Quality Assurance
It was agreed that the combined case study report will be QA’d across the Workpackage 3 team by
mid January 2014 and then by the wider project by the end of January 2014.

Arrangements for next Workpackage Meeting
The next workpackage meeting will take place via video conference during the last week of
November. ONS will send the agenda and invites shortly.
Action: ONS to send out agenda and invites for WP3, meeting 6 in advance of the meeting.

Next Steps
The next steps for this workpackage are:


Finalise reports by the end of November 2013 and circulate to other WP3 members for
comment/feedback before Christmas and formal QA by Mid January 2014.
Proposal for final report to be issued, to include lessons learned.
