In their group they will discuss the questions they come up with and record whatever their conversation consists of. Also, they will be answering and discussing questions already created for them. Learning Activity 4 Picture Books Connection Using picture books, students will look at pictures first to determine common themes between them and the novel. They will then read the book to further any connections in theme that exist. Also, in the picture book stations, students have a graphic organizer so that they can see repeated themes found in the novel and picture books. Summative Assignment Code Orange menu project There are three levels: 1. Knowledge/Comprehension 2. Analysis/Application 3. Evaluate/Synthesis The assignments listed are from Blooms. They have to choose one assignment from each category, totaling 3. Summarizing Strategy In Activating strategy, students are synthesizing information from various internet sources and compiling it onto a PowerPoint slide/slides. In group discussions, students are summarizing what they have read and answering and creating questions about the text. On annotated map, students are summarizing what happened in a certain location.
