Professional Valuation Advisors, Inc. is organized to perform comprehensive valuation,
consulting, appraisals, market analysis and litigation support,
EXPERIENCE:
Since 1970, Joseph C. Magdziarz has been actively engaged in real estate analysis,
valuation, counseling, appraisal and appraisal education. Scope of experience covers all phases
of real estate valuation and analysis as well as varied experience in areas of real property
development, construction financing, management and sales. Valuation studies include most
major type of mid-west properties, with special emphasis in commercial and industrial
properties; multifamily residential; residential and mixed product subdivisions; agricultural
properties; offices; medical facilities, and special purpose properties. Appraisal services include
market analysis and highest and best use studies, fractional interest studies, and analytical
reports on the aforementioned assignments to serve clients in matters of buy and sell
decisions, eminent domain, mortgage underwriting, dissolution of marital assets, zoning issues
and investment analysis. Clients served include many national, state and local governmental
agencies; park and school districts; banks and savings and loan associations; insurance
companies; major corporations; courts of law; attorneys and individuals.
VALUATION, CONSULTING, APPRAISAL, MARKET ANALYSIS AND LITIGATION SUPPORT
EXPERIENCE:
Before the formation of Professional Valuation Advisors, Inc. on January 1, 2013, Mr.
Magdziarz was the owner and president of Appraisal Research Inc. in Rockford, Illinois.
PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS:
MAI and SRA designated member of the Appraisal Institute and the 2011 National President of
the Appraisal Institute. Joseph served on the Appraisal Institute National Board of Directors
from 1996 to 2001. Joseph also served on the National Audit Committee, the Appraisal
Institute Instructor Subcommittee and he was Chair of Educational Programs and also served on
the Publications Committee. Joseph served as Chair of the National Education Committee from
2005 to 2008. He also served two terms as Chair of Region III of the Appraisal Institute and as
the 2009 President of the Chicago Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, resigning upon election as
Vice President of the Appraisal Institute in 2009.
