ACT PRACTICE English TEST FORMAT This test has five essays or passages. Each of the selections includes 15 multiple choice questions. These questions direct students to a specific line or phrase from the text. Students then answer a question that asks if the line is correct or if it requires some kind of revision. The full ACT allows 45 minutes to complete 75 questions. SUGGESTIONS FOR COMPLETION Read the directions first. Then read the passage. Read each question carefully. Read each of the choices.
