MAKE-UP POLICY & ATTENDANCE
Regular attendance is expected. Make-up work is only available for excused absences. It is the student’s responsibility
to find out what work needs to be made up and you will have 2 days to complete the work or make arrangements. Failure
to complete missed work will result in a zero for the assignment. Any work assigned before the absence will be due the
day the student returns.
***If absent on the day of a test, you are expected to take the test on the day you return.
***If absent on the day of a test review but present on test day, you are expected to take the test.
No late work will be accepted!
Parents or Guardians,
The success of each student is important to me. I would appreciate your help at home by encouraging your
student to use their homework as a daily method to find areas of difficulty in the course’s content. Please encourage your
student to ask for help at the first sign of trouble. Please feel free to contact me at Stacy_Steed@gwinnett.k12.ga.us.
I look forward to teaching your son or daughter this year!
Mrs. Stacy Steed
I have read the syllabus and class policies for IB Math I, and I understand my responsibilities.
