c. Director Delaney- Director Delaney has made the executive decision to halt
all mini survey production now due to several concerns about them from a
majority of members within SGA. He will be talking with his committee to
propose new ideas for the mini surveys. Director Delaney also went to his
consolidation meeting about Health Services. New policies and proposals are
being created that may and will affect the majority of students. Please be on
the lookout for those changes and let your constituents know. Everything is
looking very promising and positive and it will be an exciting time. He also
attended the Undergraduate Policies and Curriculum Committee today.
Changes to courses, both small and large, are being made to certain pathways
so please be on the lookout for any of those changes. Also, a new requirement
for syllabi has been produced from the Faculty Senate that includes the
addition of a sentence that will help clarify the responsibilities of students
with their attendance to class. The sentence is stated as follows: “Students
are solely responsible for managing their enrollment status in a class;
nonattendance does not constitute a withdrawal.” This sentence also with
the recommendation of more clarification on “W” and “WF” grades should be
added into all syllabi by the upcoming semesters. This is in response to the
policy that is requiring KSU to be more strict and up to date on class
attendance for financial aid purposes. If anyone has questions about any of
these please let Director Delaney know so that he may address them as soon
as possible.

k. President Streeti. President Street met with Dr. Papp and discussed the question that
was raised regarding the allocation of monies to football and away

not cause any reallocation of funds from other sports programs to it.
Football will be funded by the increased student fees and the fundraising that has been conducted by the Athletics department. KSU's
classroom occupancy rates are now 3rd in the state, surpassed only be
UGA and Gwinnett. This will allow us to look into building additional
academic buildings on campus. President Papp will be pulling

policy from the Board of Regents. Stay alert for that announcement.
