Usually numbered sequentially. Build Number: A numbering system beyond the minor upgrade. Often represented as 2.1.8196 Installing/Uninstalling Install software by inserting the CD/DVD or by clicking on the downloaded icon. Installation Wizard will step you through the process Always use the uninstall program that comes with your software. Usually this is found under the Control Panel – Programs and Features application.
