It helps students speak effectively in public. It focuses on teaching organization, oral communication, and listening skills. The course aims at developing students’ confidence as public speakers by teaching them the elements of effective oral presentations. Course SLO and LO: Course SLO (Students Learning Outcomes) 1. Understanding the basic components of public speaking 2. Acquiring strategies for audience analysis, topic selection, and organization 3. Learning how to use nonverbal signals, body language and visual aids to communicate effectively 4. Improving language skills necessary to communicate clearly 5.
