It is responsible for the recruitment of new members and managing relationships with members, to help connect companies to action. The responsibility for the management of Salesforce for the entire organisation also sits within the membership team. Purpose The purpose of the Salesforce Administration team is to ensure that the system is fit for purpose and delivering value, to provide a ‘helpdesk’ facility and to ensure that all users are trained and confident in the use of the system. Roles and Responsibilities Day to day administration of the Salesforce system including, but not limited to: Maintaining the role hierarchy as the organisation changes its structure over time Resetting user passwords Adding, deleting, and modifying users as employees are hired, transferred, or leave the organisation Manning the Salesforce Helpdesk Assisting with bulk inputs of data Maintaining security profiles and access rights for users Maintaining, adding or deleting workflows and assignment rules Updating page layouts and record types Configuring reports and dashboards Improving the value of the system to BITC Arranging and assisting with training in line with current schedules and in conjunction with the Human Resources Learning and Development Manager Helping people understand their own business processes and advising if Salesforce can help Developing work plans for: Improving the quality and consistency of input Improving the data integrity of what is already on the system Building the profile of Salesforce within the organisation Extending the buy-in and usage across the organisation Sharing good practice Testing and launching new Salesforce functionality To do this you will be expected to attend ComNet (BITC’s network of administrators/communicators), team meetings of campaigns, regional teams and the Membership Team. You will be expected to be present in the London office most of the week and supporting a regional office via face to face meetings/ webmeetings around once per month. Ensure that health and safety requirements are met in the areas for which the jobholder is responsible. The post holder may be required to carry out other duties that are reasonably to be considered as within the scope and purpose of the job and the aptitudes of the job holder. This rises on a sliding scale to a maximum of 30 days after 10 years service. Employees can also "buy" more holiday entitlement or "sell" days unused.
