LYNN’S COUNTRY FOODS LIMITED JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator Reporting To: Salary: c. £26-30K Job Purpose: To create, maintain, monitor and review key data relating to business relationship and sales performance, and make recommendations accordingly. Key Responsibilities: Update weekly retail sales (EPOS data) from various retailers including Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Waitrose and Sainsburys. Analye EPOS data and feedback to senior team on actionable variances. Ad hoc projects linked to sales and marketing with all our key customers, for example, waste, and on-shelf merchandising. Work with our key retail customers to identify gaps in the marketplace. Analyse marketing data, and present outputs from the analysis to the customer. Report Weekly price packs Update business dashboard showing long term trends in sales data. Assist with updating customer business agreements and retailer scorecards. Ensure efficient use of resources in order to cost effectively achieve excellent service levels in terms of information flow to our customer base. Ensure the provision of accurate administrative information and that such information is used in an appropriate and beneficial manner. Meet regularly with relevant team members and teams to ensure effective communication of sales & marketing information and provide relevant reports, statistics and other information to enhance management decision making. Any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role as determined by the line manager. Experience making recommendations to senior team and to retailers based on analysis of sales data. Experience in the food production industry Experience of working with high end multiple retailers Has driven marketing projects from inception to delivery and analysis. Skills and Competencies Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including effective presentation and influencing skills Able to liaise comfortably with retail colleagues at appropriate level Evidence of strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills Proven capability to deliver results Evidence of good organisational, planning and time management abilities with the ability to prioritise effectively to meet deadlines Evidence of the ability to communicate effectively in order to achieve challenging objectives in a fast paced environment Proficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software, e-mail and the internet Evidence of strong commercial acumen and a good understanding of modern marketing, financial and information systems Circumstances Able to work flexibly to ensure business needs are met Valid driving licence and vehicle available for business use Experience within the meat industry
