Santa Rosa, in the heart of California’s beautiful wine country, is the Keysight Technologies
headquarters. The Microwave and Communication Division (MCD) develops and produces the world’s
highest performance signal generators and signal analyzers.
You will be responsible for providing factory-based product and application post-sales support for
Keysight’s Signal Analysis and Signal Source instruments. Candidates will receive great satisfaction by
supporting internal and external customers solve their measurement and repair problems in a prompt and
professional manner. This is a fast paced, interrupt-driven environment which necessitates selfmotivation, good organization, and self-management of priorities.
Job Responsibilities:
•Support our internal and external customers by providing application, repair, and upgrade support
•Help customers easily access information by developing and maintaining post-sales support content on
the Keysight internal and external web.
•Build and maintain close relationships with Service Centers, Field Application Engineers, Marketing,
Technical Writing, R&D, and Production teams
•Represent the customer viewpoint in decision making processes.
•Help create service documentation for instrument repair and upgrades.
•Resolve customer facing issues quickly, seeking R&D experts as appropriate.
•Find a balance between customer satisfaction and financial impact to Keysight.
•Actively participate in reliability improvement teams.
Qualifications:
Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree
•Conversant in Time and Frequency domain, with working knowledge of Fourier transforms.
•Experience operating and programming RF and microwave test equipment
•Excellent English written and oral communications skills.
•Ability to convey complex ideas clearly and succinctly
•Ability to work independently to plan and prioritize work load, and solve problems.
•Excellent teamwork skills, commitment to task, creativity in problem solving
•Work collaboratively to solve difficult technical problems
•Experience working with international customers.
•Instrument programming skills using multiple programming languages such as Labview, VEE, Visual
Basic, C, Matlab
•Familiar with Windows OS configuration and troubleshooting
