Project: 180MW Alstom D13 Gas Turbines Power Station, Shoiba,
Basra, Iraq.
July 2013 till to date
Working as EPCC Project Manager on 180 MW ALSTOM D13 single Silo gas turbines
Power Project in Basra Iraq and plant is operating under warranty period.
















Engineering Review of the Project with Single Destination Engineering South
Africa.
Achieved the Civil, Mechanical and E&I completion – Timely and within Budget.
Engineering, Construction, Commissioning of Fuel Storage Facilities of 10,000MT.
Erection and commissioning of Fuel Oil (light Furnace Oil) Treatment Facilities.
Erection of Gas Turbines, Auxiliaries and BOP, 132kv Switch yard and MCC.
Completed the Fuel oil Supply System pipeline works – 6 Km long underground line
from nearby oil refinery.

Hyundai Thailand and Descon Engineering of Pakistan JV for this project. As an EPCC site
Manager on 405 MW CCPP, my responsibilities were:















Teamed up the Proposal Project and won the Project bid.
Engineering Review of the Project with Engineering Departments for finalization
and minimization of the in-Construction bottlenecks.
Liaise with Government of Pakistan regulatory agencies.
Coordination with Client.
Ensure project activities execution as per schedule and within budget.
QHSE Implementation and update.
Supervised all site activities – including Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Construction.
Management of QA/QC.
Support Engineering for site updates.
IFC Drawings up-date.

October 2008 to May 2011. (2.75 Years)
Halmore Power is 225MW CCPP GE 6F gas turbines based power station and Descon
Engineering was EPCC of the project. I worked as Project Manager and successfully
Achieved Commercial Operation of the Project.



Kabirwala Power Station Pakistan.
Period:
January 2002 to September 2008 (6.75 Years)
Fauji Kabirwala is a 157 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant comprising two Westinghouse
W251B11 Gas Turbines and MHI SC-28.0 Steam Turbine connected on 132 kV Grid Station.
Keeping in view the exceptional performance during Project Phase, Client offered to work as
Senior Engineer C&I on the same plant that was accepted and continued to work on the
same project and following were main responsibilities.
 Troubleshooting of WDPF8.6 System, AB PLCs and Field Instruments.
 Lock Out Tag Out Implementation and worked as Senior Authorized Person.
 Implemented CMMS.
 Emergency, PM of DCS and C & I Systems

Contractor was NEPCO USA and project was sublet to China Machinery Engineering
Corporation and worked for CMEC as E & I Project Manager on this site till the
achievement of COD and then continued as Senior Engineer I & C on the project.
