Purpose of Job
The job holder will be responsible for supporting the London and South East Regional Manager
and team in the implementation and delivery of Mosaic’s mentoring programmes across the
region.
Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
To support the day to day implementation and coordination of Mosaic’s programmes and other
activities in the region including:









The recruitment of mentors, including online expressions of interest and providing support
to those mentors as they move through their Mosaic journey
Maintain Salesforce and associated databases for the management of volunteers, including
responding to mentor interest
Coordinating mentor training, where appropriate, working with Mosaic’s professional training
provider
Ensuring all mentors’ DBS clearances are administered locally
Liaison with University visit and Graduation, and World of Work, host venues, speakers and
catering to ensure events are good quality
Gathering regular feedback and impact assessment paperwork
All administrative duties commensurate with the programme and the role.
Ensure that health and safety requirements are met in the areas for which the jobholder is
responsible.
The post holder may be required to carry out other duties that are reasonably to be considered
as within the scope and purpose of the job and the aptitudes of the job holder.

Special working conditions:

Travel across the London and South East regions will be required occasionally.

Experience

Track record of working within the not for profit sector and dealing
with youth initiatives would be desirable
Supporting and coordinating projects
Working with a range of stakeholders from different sectors and
industries
Providing administrative support
Working to targets and deadlines
Maintaining a database

The standard working day is 09:00-17:00 with an hour
for lunch each day. Flexible arrangements are
possible.

years it goes up 1 day per year until you have 30

BITC will contribute up to 5% of salary and the
individual contributes a minimum of 2.5%. We
operate this as a salary exchange and BITC also
contributes the resulting NI saving into your pension.
What if something
happens to me?
Payment of four times the annual salary will be paid
to the estate of any individual in the event of death
while they are employed at BITC.
