ACTION: Obtain SSArea Map to visualize target areas, like a political campaign. 5b) Health in the Hubs - Steve Rolfe On November 11th a report of Phase 1 will be distributed and South Sherman will receive five copies. Research focuses on Beautification: a) waste management b) graffetti c) green spaces and d) PanAM Games Prep ACTION: Meeting Dec 5th @ St. Giles focus on Health in the Hubs Phase 2, presented by McMaster University Students: Vivian, Janet, Alex and Anne Marie and Community Liaisons; Celeste Licorish and Steve Calverley. Pesentations – Scheduled Items 6a) Solid Waste Management Master Plan - City of Hamilton The City of Hamilton is in the process of conducting a review of its Solid Waste Management Master Plan. The Review will very soon be at the stage where the City’s alternative future directions for waste management are drafted and available for discussion with the community. They have expressed an interest to meet with our group to present the alternative waste management scenarios and obtain our group’s feedback. If you would like more information about the City’s Solid Waste Management Master Plan process and the work that has been completed to date, please visit www.hamiltonwastereview.ca. In addition to this, a document presenting the directions and scenarios will be available on November 4th, 2011. They anticipate that the presentation and discussion would take approximately 45 to 50 minutes.
