Science-Refer to Science Fair Project Requirements Due 6/9/15; Social Studies Project Students have chosen a inventor from following list: Samuel Morse Alexander Graham Bell Henry Ford The Wright Brothers Thomas Edison Essay Requirements: Biography/Synopsis of Inventor What did the person invent?/Describe invention (ex. what it does, how did it help society at that time, who had access, who benefited from it) What problems did he/she face when trying to come up with their idea? (ex. Failed attempts, challenges) How did their invention change/effect society today? ELA Project Students will create an adapted chapter to the Peter Pan novel. The chapter should not change the story but add to the story. The adapted chapters should take place “in between” two chapters or start at the end of the book. (2 pages written- 11/2 pages or more typed) Requirements: Dialogue Characters must stay true to characters’ traits and motivations Problem and Solution or workings of a solution Elements of imagination and figurative language Vivid/Interesting Words ***Must aligned or make sense as an additional chapter that can be added to the book
