DESCRIPTION/ABSTRACT (DO NOT EXCEED 200 WORDS)
This box should contain a short abstract of the research project. The abstract is a summary of what your study is about. If
the project is finished, a summary of the results can be included. If the study is not finished, the initial goals and
hypothesis of the study can be included. Under no circumstances should there be a citation in your abstract. The abstract
must be in your words only. Taking out citations without altering the text is plagiarism and against University policy. Do
not try to format the abstract. Any attempt to format will be taken out so that all projects have a standard format. Be sure
to proofread your abstract or description paragraph for content or grammatical errors. If these guidelines are not followed,
your abstract will be sent back to you to rewrite. If RSIA does not get your rewrite back by the deadline, changes will be
made to the project description without your input. To avoid unnecessary problems and to simplify the process, please
follow these guidelines and write your description paragraphs correctly when making your submission. The abstract must
not exceed 200 words, which is the approximate length of this paragraph.
