Computation of semester grade:
Average of Quarter grades + extra credit.
Procedure for make-up work: All class work must be made up or arrangements made with the
classroom teacher within two (2) school days after returning from an absence. If the work is not
made up the student's grade will be lowered. If studio time is not made-up, the project grade will be
lowered. 11 or more absences per semester will result in a failed grade unless make-ups are
completed within the required time.
Procedure for late assignments:
Each project will have a due date at which time full credit will be given. A second due date will
be given. Projects handed in by this date will be penalized for lateness by
lowering the grade oneletter grade. After the second due date, projects will not be
accepted for credit.
