Introduction
This ordering guide provides directions to Dell partner sales representatives regarding how to selfconfigure/quote or with whom to engage to configure/quote the offers referenced in the subject Blueprint.
This ordering guide is intended for Dell PartnerDirect resellers.
Dell Solutions Configurator
The Solutions Configurator is a configuration and collaboration tool with the ability to create and customize
Dell enterprise solutions through a unique self-service online experience on the PartnerDirect portal, making
it easier to do business with Dell.
The Dell Solutions Configurator allows you to:
– Configure a Dell solution more quickly with full validation rules.
– Address end-customer’s needs autonomously and proactively.
– Collaborate with your Dell Sales Representative on the configuration.
– Turn around a complete configuration easily.
– Shorten cycle time between the initial request and the final purchase.
– Access a library of pre-engineered, solution-based templates
Dell Cloud Client-Computing Advisor Tool
The Cloud Client-Computing Advisor is a unique tool aimed to shorten partner sales cycles by allowing you
to rapidly configure a customized, end-to-end desktop virtualization solution to fit your customer’s
environment.
The flexible web-based tool presents a series of simple questions about your desktop virtualization
opportunity and, using complex calculations based off of our proven and validated reference architectures,
outputs a custom bill of materials encompassing best-of-breed Dell servers, storage, networking, and Dell
Wyse thin or zero clients to present to your customers. The Cloud Client Computing Advisor also allows
you to quickly and easily obtain a custom quote from your Dell sales team simply by giving them your
custom solution ID number located on the PDF read-out of your solution.

architectures, please contact your Dell channel sales team.
