Curriculum Guide Spanish 3 Course Description This course treats all language learning skills: listening, speaking, writing, and reading. Students learn to manipulate structural patterns of Spanish with the primary goal being the understanding and production of the written and spoken language. Class activities include preparation of dialogues, question/answer exchanges, oral proficiency sessions, and the completion of written exercises. Audio-visual materials and computer software reinforce the linguistic and cultural outcomes of this course. Cultural topics focus both on Latin America and Spain. This course prepares students for Spanish 4 or Spanish 4 Conversation. Superior students may be recommended for A.P. Spanish.
