NO VOCABULARY PROJECT.
READING LOGS DUE MONDAY WITH 100 MINUTES FOR REGULAR CONTENT; 150 MINUTES FOR ADVANCED CONTENT.
ON WEDNESDAY, ALL STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE GRADE REPORTS. STUDENTS ARE TO WORK ON ANY MAKE-UP
WORK THEY CAN DO. IT’S DUE AFTER THE THANKSGIVING BREAK (NOVEMBER 30TH)
ALL OLD VOCABULARY WORDS ARE LOCATED ON THIS WEBSITE UNDER EACH WEEK’S HOMEWORK.
STUDENTS WHO FAILED LAST WEEK’S VOCABULARY QUIZ WILL TAKE IT AGAIN ON FRIDAY. PLEASE MAKE
SURE YOUR CHILD STUDIES!! GRADED TESTS WERE GIVEN BACK TO STUDENTS ALREADY, SO THEY KNOW
THEIR GRADES.

Students received a packet last Friday - the 13th - with a summary of 18 projects - two
of which can be turned in for extra credit test grades. The projects area due no later
than Friday, December 18. The packet is printed on blue paper.
Students will be taking a test on "How water moves and how it changes the Earth's
surface" on Friday, November 20. They have information sheets and directed reading
packets in their folders to study.
I am still accepting current event articles on earthquakes or volcanoes. Students were
given two weeks to complete this assignment four weeks ago.
Tutorial is available every morning from 7:00 - 7:45 a.m. Afternoon tutorial is available
every day except Tuesday with a note that should be turned in the day before the
student intends to stay.
Study notes and definitions daily. A quiz can occur any day at any time.
